These vehicles have faulty Skid Control ECU software, which might not activate the Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) system after restarting the vehicle once the driver has disabled the VSC system. This error makes these vehicles non-compliant with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard on “Electronic Stability Control Systems.”
