Jeep Factory Warranty & Roadside Assistance
Jeep Factory Warranty
Your Jeep brand vehicle comes with a factory warranty. The Basic Warranty covers your vehicle for 3 years from the date of purchase and up to 36,000 miles. (This is referred to as the bumper to bumper warranty) The Powertrain Warranty covers the engine and transmission for 5 years from the date of purchase and up to 60,000 miles. You do have to keep your vehicle properly maintained. If you neglect your vehicle this could effect your warranty. I always recommend getting any service performed at your local Jeep dealer. This usually assures that you have properly trained Jeep mechanics working on your Jeep. Also the Jeep mechanics know what to inspect at different time and mileage intervals.

What Is Not Covered Under Your Jeep Factory Warranty
Your Jeep Warranty will not cover regular maintenance. This includes oil changes, tire rotations or alignments. Also regular wear and tear items are not covered either. This includes items such as brake pads, brake rotors, vehicle battery, wiper blades etc. The factory warranty also will not cover aftermarket parts. If you do install aftermarket parts this could effect your warranty coverage. Please be sure to check with a dealer to see if the parts will effect your warranty before installing.
