The 500e Battery Warranty is for 8 Years or up to 100,000 Miles. The battery is a 42 kWh lithium-ion battery, sourced from Samsung. It is a fairly light weight battery. It will fully charge in 6 hours using a standard 7kW charger. There is an optional rapid charger that can charge the fiat battery to a nearly full charge in just under an hour.
